SUPREME COURT.
By Telegraph—Press Association mv, c- Wanganui, last night. Ihe Supreme Court was opened this morning before the Chief Justice. George Skelton, for horse-stealing, was ordered to come up for sentence when called upon. Accused is a man undergoing a six months’ sentence for theft. A Maori named Otene Pomare, at present doing eighteen months tor false pretences was sentenced to six months. Selina Hughes and John Hughes, on a charge of incest, were found guilty. The woman was recommended to mercy.
