Empire Skating Rink.
All arrangements are now practically completed for the opening of the Empire Skating Eink on Wednesday evening, and we fully expect to see this fascinating pastime become very popular in Gisborne. We are promised that the Empire will be ' conducted on up-to-date lines, and good order and decorum will be rigidly enforced. After the opening night special terms will * be offered to ladies and children, and season tickets will be offered at reduced rates. The management have arranged ± for a capable band, and the convenience and comfort of patrons will be carefully < attended to, while.for those who do not i rink special seating accommodation is { being provided. 1
