BOATS CAST ASHORE ON WEST COAST. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, May 22. Tho steamer Deptford, which went ashore at Lus Palmas, lias broken in halves during a gale. Perth, May 23. The barque Ebba passed a derelict American schooner on February 9th in latitude 54 and longitude 28 west. It offered a serious danger to navigation. There wore no signs of the crew. Auckland, last night. It is reported from' Hohoura that the side of a vessol and a quantity of timber is ashore on the West Coast near that that place. Nothing definite as to the size of the vessel could be obtained. The police have gone to make enquiries.
