A PECULIAR ACCIDENT.

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Nelson, last night. A young man, whose name is not ascertainable, was found on the Rai Saddle today with a deep gash in his arm. He was unconscious from the loss of blood, but after a time, the wound having been bound up, he was conveyed to the house of a settler, where he was left. It is believed he was driving through from, Christchurch in a sulky, that he had gone into the bush to cut a stick, aud hearing the coach coming ran towards his trap, when the acoident cocurred.
