(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Napier, last night. . The Naticnal Council of the Women of New Zealand, at their session, passed a resolution affirming the necessity of giving every domestio servant one half-day’s holiday in the week. The subject of “ Municipal Reform ” was discussed, and the following resolutions passed: 11 That a further reform of our Local Government system is desirable, such reform to ensure all men and women are entitledto exercise the local franchise ; ” “ That it is desirable that women shall occupy seats on,all local bodies ; ’ 11 That effective provision be made for the undertaking and maintaining of all possible services, and also of reproductive works."
