Fry and Sons, the wellknown cocoa manufacturers, have, offered to give a challenge cup for competition by members of the Auckland Golf Club, fixing the value of the trophy at from 15 to 20 guineas. They desire that the conditions should make it possible for some individual player to win the cup outright. If so secured, they would renew it at a future date.
