By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Melbourne, May 2. As a result of enquiries on behalf of tho Eastern Extension Cablo Company as to when the Pacific cable to Canada will bo opened, in order that tho Eastern Extension Company may make arrangements for opening their offices as allowed under the agreements with the various States, the General Manager of the Pacific Cable informed Mr Drake that the probable date of opening will be November 15.
