THE ADMIRALTY IS SATISFIED.

In the House of Commons Mr Balfour announced that Government had received unofficial information in reference to the constitution of the shipping combine. The Admiralty mercantile cruisers are safe for throe years. Possibly then they will not be transferred. Government in , the interval will arrange an adequate scheme of protection of fhe maritime commerce. Tho aspects of the combination involvod difficult and complicated issues, requiring oareful consideration.
