By Telegraph—Pre6s Association—Copyright Melbourne, May 2. A Bonus to Manufacturers Bill has been introduced into the Federal House. It carries out the Government's intentions. It is announced that when the Tariff Bill is introduced, the dates of operation of bonuses will be from July Ist to last. No bonus will be paid in pig iron, puddled bar, iron, or steel after July 1, 1907 ; on iron wire netting, or iron steel pipes, after 1905 ; on reapers and bmders, after 1904.

The Federal Customs revenue for April is £831,000. For the ten months, after allowing special inter-State deductions to Westralia. the Commonwealth tariff realised £7,855,000,
