The Star of Gisborne Lodge, No. 61, of tho 1.0.0. P. of Now Zealand, celebrated the B<3rd anniversary of the above order last evening at the lodge-room, Masonic Hall, in tho presence of a large number of brethren, Bro. R. Robb, N.G., in tho chair. The service, as laid down in the ritual prescribed for the occasion, was solemnly and impressively rendered by the officers, Bro. Peckover ably officiating as chaplain, and the hymns were sung with feeling, Bro. Burrow, lodge organist, presiding at the organ. At the conclusion of the ceremony' a degree meeting was held, when several brethren were advanced to a higher degree by the Degree Master, Bro. Colebourne, assisted by the officers of the Degree Lodge.
