CINQUEVALLI.

(Special to Times.) Auckland, last night,

MrM. Marcus arrived from Sydney, | via the South, this morning, for the purpose of meeting the great Cinquevalli, who arrives with his Company from America by the Sierra to-morrow morning. While in conversation with Mr Marcus • this afternoon, he informed me that ho had not arranged definite dates for the New Zealand tour, but would do so immediately on Cinguevalli’s arrival. Mr Marcus also stated that when passing through Gisborno on Saturday morning i the well-known impressario had offered him strong inducement to include Gis- • borne in the tour. At present, Mr Marcus seems rather afraid that the limited time allotted to New Zealand will hardly allow I any visits outside the four centres, i I understand the Company supporting Cinquevalli are probably the strongest combination of entertainers ever seen in Australasia.
