Hawke’s Bay Show.
By Tesdfif Pres Association.
o nay Agricultural and Pastoral Society held their first autumn show to-day, but rain fell steadily in the afternoon and spoilt tho attendance ; it was, however, large considering the weather. The show was a representative one, thero being good competition in most classes of agricultural and farm produce, and a specially fine display of fruit. The exhibits 'as a whole wore of excellent quality, and though owing to the wet weather a slight financial loss may result, the success of the show from a utilitarian point of view should ensure its continuance as an annual fixture.
