A SUCCESSFUL RAID.

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Dunedin, last night. Chief-Detective Campbell and Detectives Kennedy and Hill made a raid to-day on some of the Chinese opium dens, and succeeded in getting in all about .£2O worth of opium. The first place visited was in Stafford street, kept by Lo Tom Quin. Here five men were found smoking, and a considerable quantity of opium was found. Pun Lun’s house, close by, was then visile I. There two men were found smoking, and concealed opium was unearthed. On going to the house of Joe Duck, in Walker street, two men were found smoking, but tho raid had evidently been heard of, and the opium carefully coucealed,
