The Republican leadero are abandoning the Shipping Subsidy Bill. Cratup, a Philadelphia shipbuilder, declares that unless it is passed Morgan's combination will build liners in (Treat Britain, or purchase non-American shipyards. The combination has closed its subscription books. It proposes £o develop each port along • the lines where’ heat adapted. Steamers, during the winter months, will be restricted according' to the number of passengers. Summer fares and winter fares will be classified, according to speed and tonnage gf the steamers employed.
