AMOUNT COVERED TWENTY-FOLD
By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, April 19. The new Consols loan has closed. It was covered twenty-fold. The larger applications receive below five per cent, of the respective amounts. The new scrip is quoted at one and thirteeu-sixteenths premium. Five million of Consols were taken by America, and was subscribed tenfold.
