By telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Melbourne, April 19. A conference representative ot all parts ol the State, the outcome of a widespread movement for Parliamentary reform, adopted a resolution condemning the extravagant cost of the State and Federal Parliaments, the increaso of public expenditure and debt, and demanding a reduction of the number of members of the State Ministry to five, of the Assembly to forty-six, and of the Council to twentythree, with one-third reduction of their salaries; a substantial reduction of expenditure in Public Departments to within the bounds of the earning power of the people; cessation of borrowing, excepting for absolutely reproductive works, and a consolidation of loans.
