BUDDING MAYORS WANT TO FIGHT. [By Telegraph—Press Association.] Dunedin, last night. - At the nominations for the Mayoralty of South Dunedin a good deal of personal feeling was shown by the rival candidates, and the remarks of one so exasperated the other, that he proceeded to divest himself of his coat and invited his opponent to “ Come on.” The invitation was not accepted, and after a further interchange of words the parties cooled down, and the proceedings terminated.
