SPLENDID GOLD RETURNS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, last night. During the week since the publication of the gold returns for the three weeks ending April 3, additional returns have come to hand from other mines in the Auckland district. These show a steady increase in the present year’s output. The first quarter of 1901 yielded a total of 11146,686, and notwithstanding that the first quarter of the present year, as far as returns are concerned, is not yet completed, the total output for the period to date already amounts to £177,812, or an increase of £31,126 over the first three months of last year,
