A SUDDEN DEATH.

Palmerston North, last night.

This morning a Rongotea settler named W. P Thompson was found dead on the road near the State school. He was last seen alive on Thursday night when going to an entertainment in the township. Deceased was fifty years of age, and leaves a widow and family. An inquest will be held to-morrow. Heart disease is believed to be the cause of death.
