jfjc Premier On his arrival in received the following cablegram trom . Federal Premier :—“ On behalf of the Commonwealth of Australia I congratulate you on the completion of new cable connection New Zealand with Australia. I believe that this increased means of communication will result in the promotion of intercourse and the maintenance of the good feeling which .exists between our respective countries.— Epuo'd Barton.” *
