He states that last Sunday he went down the bank to get a drink at tbe river, when he fell over a small embankment and injured his hip. When found he was propped up against tbe bank, and had no food or. water since the accident. There is continous traffic over this bridge, and it is extraordinary that the man could make no sign to attract attention. Ross is a stranger here. He was removed to the hospital for treatment.
