She regretted that the meeting of Munich women lent itself to groundless slanders against a friendly nation. DeWET AND DE LA KEY. TRYING TO JOIN FORCES. Boer advices state that DeWet and Dc la Eey are trying to join forces in the vicinity of Parys. j By Telegraph—Press Association Wellington, Saturday. The Government are advised that Trooper J. T. Mclvelvie, of Mataura, of the Seventh Contingent, is dangerously ill of enteric fever at Norvals Pont. Sergeant-Major Malcolm (Nelson), Sixth Contingent, and Private Hedley (Canterbury), of the Seventh, returned by the Paparoa this morning.
