BANQUET TO PREMIER.
[By Telegraph—Press Association]. . Aucklaud, last night. The Premier was entertained at a banquet by tho Liberal and Labor Association to-night. A number of Parliamentary representatives and prominent citizens were present. The Premier gave a patriotic speech, advocating close rela tioos with the Mother Country. At the coming Conference in connection with the Coronation, he would advocate rebates equal to ten, fifteen, or twenty per cent, in favor of British goods brought to the colony in British ships,
