SUDDEN DEATH,

[By Telegraph—Press Association.] Wellington, last night.

At the inquest on the body of James Campbell, who died suddenly to-day a verdict was returned that death was due to acute peritonitis. SEDDON TESTIMONIAL-

At a meeting of the Seddon Committee to-day it was stated that 4300 citizens had signed the testimonial and over six hundred pounds had been subscribed.
