VALUATIONS.
(To the Editor of the Times)
Sir,—l would suggest to the large number of ratepayers who object to the valuations of their properties to call a meeting to arrange a proper system of defence. This is the only chance of success for objectors as the Court is at present constituted, the ratepayers having no representative on the Bench, which consists wholly of laymen, nominees of the Government. —I am, etc., OBJECTOR,
