(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, iast night, A lire took place at about hali-past four o'clock tnis morning in a tourstorv wooden building owned by. J,Natiian and Co., and situated an the corner of Grey and Featherston sireeis. The nuilding was occupied bv Nelson, luoate anu Co., tea merchants ; doling and Tripe, barristers and solicitors ; Henderson and Hume, brokers ; Jack, mining agentand Peabody and Co., merchants, the lire was coniined to the upper floor, which was in the occupation of Nelson, Moate and Co. This linn had an unusually heavy stock of tea in hand at the time, and the loss cannot yet be estimated. The building was insured for £1,200. The insurances on the (stock are not yet known.
