EARTHQUAKES AT OPOTIKI.
LOUD, RUMBLING NOISE,
By Telegraph.—Press Association, Auckland, last night. Two severe shocks of earthquake were experienced last evening at Opotiki, preceded by a loud, rumbling noise.
Some Gisborne people declared that they felt a shock of earthquake on Wednesday evening, but if so it xvas a very slight one.
