WAR OFFICE CONTRACTS.
By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyrigh London, March 12. The War Office has accepted Victoria’s tenders for 252,6401 b of compressed corned beef and 36,0001 bof corned mutton. Owing to the heavy stocks of hay and oats in South Africa, and cheaper British supplies the War Office has stopped ordering Australian and Now Zealand.
