GIRL DROWAED.
By Telegraph—Press Association. Nelson, last night. A girl uatned Jessie Hobson, aged thirteen, was drowned in the Upper Waingnpeka River on Sunday. She had been sent down the valley for mails, and on not returning her father went in search. He found her horse on the river bank near tho crossing, and the girl’s body in the river some chains down the stream. At the inquest a verdict of accidental death was returned.
