The Germans complain that they ■are not represented, although owning onethird of the tonnage. Habibullab, anticipating trouble, asked Haddab Mullah io defer his visit to Cabul. Haddah is not expected to officiate at tho Ameer’s Coronation. Washington, Mar. 10. The ground of inexperience and also the question of status, especially as the Kaiser intended to invite her to Germany if she went to England, prevented Miss Roosevelt’s visit to London during tho Coronation. Sydney, March 10. Business men are protesting against tho Government proclaiming St. Patrick’s Day a public holiday, on the grounds of there being too many holidays. Tho Methodist Conference also entered a protest. Already twenty-six employers’ unions and fifty-two employees’ unions havo registered under the now Arbitration Act.
