i.To the Editor of the Times.) Sib, —Will some of the Seddon Testimonial Committee kindly explain what is really’ intended in Gisborne? I am a great admirer of King Richard, but millers’ trusts, etc., are so affecting us nowadays that guineas are scarce, and the baker and butcher have a first hold on my conscience. The truth is I cannot honestly give what I would like to. If I sign the testimonial am I expected to give ? I am, etc., O.N£ OT JiIASY.
