WESLEYAN CONFERENCE

[By Telegraph—Press Association.] Dunedin, last night,

At the afternoon Ministerial session it was decided to send a further communication to Victoria relating to Ministerial supply. In Representative session the century fund report was adopted. A committee was directed to deal with the details of closing the fund. The Rev. Laws presented the report of the committee of tho Sunday-school Union. It was very exhaustive and complete. Reference was made to tho declining attendance, which was attributed to Sabbath desecration, decline of home religion, the character of the teaching and methods of school work. An interesting discussion followed. Tho report was adopted. The Secretary was thanked and re-appointed. Various regulations were approved. A resolution was adopted, thanking the officers and teachers of all schools connected with the Methodist Church, also urging increased diligence.
