OUR SOLDIERS.
PAY-DAY POSTPONED. [By Telegraph—Press Association.] Auckland, last night. The Ninth Contingent were to have received their first pay to-day, but owing to the money not having been sent up from Wellington, pay-day had to be postponed. There was naturally much disappointment amongst the troopers. Three additional officers for the Contingent arrived from Wellington to-day, and reported for duty, Captain Kinsey, Lieutenaut and Quarter-master Chambers, and LieutenanL Lewis.
