Fire at Ashburton.

[by lELEURAPII—press association.] Ashburton, last night. A six-roomed house owned and occupiod by Mrs Randall Allcuton was burned to tho ground on Saturday night at 8.80. Although it was outside the town boundaries, tho brigade arrived soon after, but the building was then nearly consumed. The insurance on tho house was .£250 in the Liverpool and London and Globe, and on the furniture .£IOO in tho Victoria. The piano was underwritten by tho Dresden Company. The origin of the fire is unknown.
