ROSEBERY v. BANNERMA&L By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, Feb. 21. Lord Rosebery in a leader to the Times says : —“ Sir H. Campbell-Bannerman at Leicester anathematised my declarations regarding a 1 clean slate ’ and Homo Rulo. Our views on tbo war methods are not less discordant. I remain therefore outside his political tabernacle, but not, I think, in solitude.” At the moment of definite separation Lord Rosebery recognises Sir H. C. Bannerman’s honest and well-intended devotion to the Liberal party.
The Times says tho rupture between Lord Rosebery and Sir H. CampbellBannerman is complete. Lord Rosebery must untiringly pursue the polioy of reconstruction of his party.
