'By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright , Adelaide, Feb. 22. j Hill flatly contradicts the statement that McKenzie was led to behove he i had been appointed second wicket-keeper ) of tho Australian team for England. He j was never communicated with in reforenco . to the post. He is satisfied that Carter has the makings of a wicket-keoper the like of whom has never before been seen in Australia. Noble and Trumblo are of the same opinion. Tho English players consider him ono of tho smartest men . with the glovos they have ever seen.
