In the Liverpool Bank cases Kelly and Stiles wore sentenced to two years’ imprisonment, and Goudie and Berge to ten years.
Mr Justice Bingham, In'sentencing the prisoners, said that Berge had cheated and terrified Goudie, whom the robbery had benefited little.
Kelly had restored seventeen thousand pounds, Stiles six thousand five hundred and seventy-four pounds, and Berge thirty thousand, in addition to forty-six thousand lodged in Marks’ and Mance’s banking accounts.
