London, Feb. 19. At the tallow sales SSO casks were offered and 400 sold. Mutton, fine, is at 37s 9d ; medium, 32s 6d ; beef, fine, 33s 9d; medium, Sis. The American visible wheat supply is estimated at 86,594,000 bushels. [By Telegraph—Press Association.] Christchurch, last night. For the fourth wool sale of the season 8490 bale were offered, including a number of good station clips. There was a fair attendance of Home and local buyers. Bidding was slack in the early part of the sale, but improved afterwards. Prices all round were a shade easier as compared with the previous sale, except for merino pieces and locks, for which there was a good demand. During the forenoon merino sold up to 7ijd, half-bred to 7d, crossbred to sd, merino pieces to 6£d, and merino locks to 4d.
