DAIRY EXHIBITION IN PALMERSTON.
PROPOSAL DISCUSSED. By Telegraph—Press Association. New Plymouth, last night. Mr C. Beattie, Secretary of the National Dairy Association, mot a sub-committee of the A. and P. Association to-day, with reference to holding a dairy exhibition and conference during the coming winter in Palmerston. It was pointed out that the fixture last year involved a loss to the Dairy Association of £9O, and suggested that some “attraction bo offered in connection with the Show. If held here in July it would obviate the possibility of a loss The Mayor, who was present at the interview, has taken the matter in hand and will consult prominent citizens in reference to the subject.
