Wellington, last night. - _ The Wellington Committee in cooneetion with the presentation of a purse of sovereigns to the Premier in recognition of his patriotic services, is desirous thatbanquets to Mr Seddon should be discouraged, and that a presentation should be made at Christchurch, where it was first mooted.
