RAM FAIR.

Wanganui, last night. Freeman R. Jackson and Co,’s ram fair was continued to-day. The attendance was large, but it was evident that Lincolns were not desired. The highest average for them was obtained by J. S. Holmes at £2 7s 3d, the others only making 1 to 1!, guineas, while many were passed im Border Leieesters were well competed for, J. S. Holmes averaging £5 8s 6d, N.Z. and Australian Loan Co. £5 os Bd, Boags £4 15s 6d. Threlkeld’s English Leieesters averaged £4 11s 6d. Shropsbires averaged e £3 3s. Romneys were in little demand, contrary to expectations, and only made 2 to 3 guineas.
