RATING ON UNIMPROVED VALUES.
PROPOSAL CARRIED IN IN VERCARGILL.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Invercargill, last night. The Borough of South Invercargill, the largest in area in tho colony, took a poll on tho question of rating on unimproved value. There are 601 ratepayers on the roll, aud of these 160 voted, 106 for tho proposal and 56 against it.
