ROWING.
The following crews have been selected for the trial-four races for Mr B. Cox’s trophies in connection with the Poverty Bay Rowing Club : J. Webb (stroke), A. Webb, J. Newton, H- Smith. J. Pool (stroke), C. Boyle, A. Pritchard, Arch. Pool. J. Smith (stroke), T. Nicholson, J. larker, J. Johnston. H. Taylor (stroke), A. W. Kirk, G. Peterson, B. Power. B. Williams (stroke), M. McLeod, B. Boyle, W. Levin. The distance of the course is to be miles, and the races will come off in about three weeks’ time.
