THOUSAND PEOPLE RENDERED HOMELESS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright New York, Feb. 10. A fire broko out at Paterson, New Jersey, during a gale. The fire destroyed twenty-six blocks of the business section and a portion of the residential quarter. Five churches, the hospital, and three newspapers offices were destroyed. Ten million dollars' worth of damago was done. ° One man was killed, and twenty injured. A thousand peoplo woro rendered homeless.
