THE PALMERSTON SEAT.
WHO IS TO SUCCEED ME PIRANI ? (Special to Times.) Wellington, last night. It is considered probable that Mr H. S. Fitzherbert, who ten years ago sat in the House as member for the Hutt, will contest the Palmerston North seat in the Liberal interest at the next election. Mr W. T. Wood, the Mayor of Palmerston, will probably also be a condidate.
