MIDDLEMEN’S PROFIT IN BUTTEE.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, last night. Mr 11. C. Cameron, the New Zealand Produce Commissioner in London, anticipates this season very widespread distribution of this colony’s butter to take place m the Old Country. In connection with ;iie middlemen question instances have come under his notice in which butter was sold three times over before being offered by the wholesale merchant to the retailer. He condemns the export of unsalted colonial butter to London.
