The Wheelbarrow.
(To the Editor of the Times.) Sir,—l was surprised that at the railway meeting the other night there was no appearance of Mr Whinray with the wheelbarrow suggestion. Now that the works have been stopped the Government should give Mr Whinray an opportunity to proceed with his wheelbarrow and shovel, and if in action he proved as good as his words the Council might give him and his barrow the Mestayerian job of building the waterworks dam. When the pall oi crape has been hung o’er the line it would be a splendid time to give all the grumblers a chance.—l am, etc., CO-OPERATOR,
