A ROUGH TRIP.
COAL VESSEL IN DANGER. [By Telegraph—Press Asßooiation.] Auokland, last night. News from Samoa by the Hauroto states that the schooner Alice McDonald left Newcastle for New South Wales on October 22nd with over one thousand tons of coal, bound for San Francisco. After being some time at sea she experienced very heavy weather, and sprung a leak in her topsides. At Apia ,the vessel discharged part of her cargo, and 200 tons were disposed of at 22s per ton. By disposing of 200 tons of cargo the Bhip will be considerably lightened, and it is hoped that Captain Mardin will have better luck on his passage to San Francisco than hitherto.
