By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright Melbourne, Feb. 3. The Federal Gazette proclaims Tat-ter-sail's sweeps unlawful. It is hinted that the difficulty of carrying on sweeps in Australia may bo got over by arranging for subscribers to pay money into a bank to the credit of Tattersall, and receive tickets through tho post from Hobart. The letters, being addressed to private individuals, could not be interfered with.
