CHINESE GAMBLING.

Wellington, last night. Chinese occupants of a house in Haining street were convicted to-day at the S.M. Court of playing paka poo. The keeper of the establishment was fined £SO, two of his assistants £ls each, and four others £1 each. Notice ol appeal was given.
